What to check when buying a house
A house card shows two sizes — the house and the plot. If the plot size is missing, ask for it before the viewing: it determines what can be extended or landscaped.
Make sure the house is registered in the land registry and that the documents match the building as it stands. We help you request the extract and go through the documents before the purchase.
Temporary residence
For third-country nationals not covered by the statutory exceptions, property with an official tax valuation of €150,000 or more may serve as grounds for temporary residence, provided the other legal requirements are met.
