Property, residence and citizenship in Montenegro

Property ownership may support temporary residence if the current Law on Foreigners requirements are met. Property type, ownership and valuation evidence, citizenship, insurance, means of support and other documents require review. A purchase does not automatically grant residence.

Preparing an application

First applications and renewals may have different conditions and exceptions. Before buying for residence purposes, ask a specialist lawyer to check eligibility and the current document list. Property ownership alone does not grant citizenship. We can introduce residence advisers.
